Prem Prakash International School aims at providing the best facilities possible for our students in the field of sports. The school has sports activities every day.

Students can opt to be trained in basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, football, throwball, lawn tennis, chess, athletics or shooting during the morning activities. Kho-kho and handball are being introduced this year. We have professional and experienced coaches to train the students.

Prem Prakash International School gives a lot of importance to improving the fitness level of students. Every Monday morning students are engaged in a mass drill conducted by our PET teachers. Students do exercises to tone and strengthen their muscles. In these sessions students learn self defense techniques which not only help them to defend themselves but also give them the confidence to handle difficult situations.

Dramatics

Acting, dialogue delivery, emotions, expressions, make-up, costumes, camera facing, speaking on the mike and connecting yourself with the audience, all these make an actor. The Dramatics club aspires to transform our budding artists into polished actors. Students take active part in every exercise and train under the guidance of our resource person are their constant help and guide.

Aerobics

Aerobics is a form of physical exercise that combines rhythmic aerobic exercise with stretching and strength training routines with the goal of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-vascular fitness). Endurance develops when kids regularly get aerobic activity. During aerobic exercise, large muscles are moving, the heart beats faster, and a person breathes harder. Aerobic activity strengthens the heart and improves the body's ability to deliver oxygen to all its cells.

Computer education

The students can keep up with their studies and the teachers can properly plan and teach the students with the help of computers. Not only from the textbooks, but the students can also learn important things about their subjects from the internet and consult with knowledgeable people from all over the world. The students who use computers give better performance in their studies. They become more focused on their work at home due to the use of computers. They also get the help of computers in doing projects on their own or along with other students. O ur School Prem Prakash International School has well-equipped computer labs for the benefit of the students.

Indian music

Several studies done over the years by educationists and neurophysiologists have shown that music has a big influence on the cognitive and psychophysical development of humans—especially children. It is believed that when children are exposed to music, especially when they are toddlers or even before they are born, it has a deep impact on their cerebral cortex region. It creates neuron pathways in the brain making them understand the world and language in a faster and easier.

Classical dance

The term classical was introduced by Sangeet Natak Academy to denote performing art styles. Introduction of Teental, footwork in Teental, ability to recite and perform ten different Todas, recite Teental Theka on hands, ability to perform one dance in Dadra and Keharwa taal are taught to the students. Students take keen interest and learn the dance forms with full of enthusiasm and dedication. The students attend classes regularly, practice at home and even perform Arangetrams. For some student it is their passion, for some it is a tradition, while the others are trying to make their parents' dream come true.

Western dance

Western dance encourages children to be more creative and to express themselves in many ways. By encouraging creativity and imagination, children learn to build trust, effective relationships, and how to think critically.

Art & craft

Art and Craft improves visual learning and memory. Through arts and crafts, a child not only learns about new shapes and colors but also becomes aware of different patterns and figures. Activities such as jewelry making or sculpting even require visualizing and memorizing complex designs in the mind.

Basketball

Basketball is one of the most popular sports in the world and one of the most widely viewed. It is a team sport that involves two teams of five active players each trying to score points against one another by throwing a ball through a 300 cm (10 feet) high hoop (the ‘basket’) under organized rules. It is played on both indoor and outdoor courts.

Volleyball

Volleyball requires you to be mentally present and will call upon your hand-eye coordination. You have to follow the ball with your eyes when you serve and then be present enough to strike at the right time. When setting, this coordination will help you see the position of your hitters so you can set them well. Remember it’s all about teamwork? This kind of focus is not so different from what is expected of you in your studies. When you have an essay to write and an upcoming exam, your concentration levels are supposed to be at their best to get the best grades.

Badminton

Badminton is a game that is mainly played indoors with a lightweight racket and a shuttlecock. Anciently, a small cork was instead of the shuttlecock, with a hemisphere, and 16 geese were attached to it, weighing about 5 grams. But nowadays, the shuttles are generally made from synthetic materials, which is allowed by the BWF that is Badminton World Federation.

Chess

Chess is a two player strategy board game played on a chessboard and helps in brain development. Often securing first prizes, the Senior, the Junior and the Sub Junior teams have helped contribute to schools grandeur.

Table tennis

Table Tennis, usually a casual game played between either two or four players, has now been taken to a competitive level. The team frequently stays back after school-hours to enhance and improve their techniques, to become better players with the help of their coaches.
